Parking: The church parking lot is accessible on Hill Street. If that is full, try street parking on Hill, State, and Church streets. The lane to the south of the church (Doxology Lane) must remain open for food distribution.

 

Bus stop: The nearest bus stop is at Hill and State streets.

 

We need volunteers each month to pack the food; this will be a few days ahead of the distribution day. On the day the food pantry is open, we need people to set up, greet, distribute, and clean up.

   

As part of the Pastor Transition process, the FPC conducted a deep study of its congregation’s missional priorities. Through sustained prayer and considered dialogue, it became evident that renewed engagement with the surrounding neighborhood and an emphasis on direct service were essential. Guided by these insights, the congregation collectively resolved to establish a food pantry within the church, demonstrating both enthusiasm and commitment to the mission. Dedicated team members transformed a previously unused space in the church’s lower level to serve as the pantry.
