In April we celebrate the gift of God’s great earth.  Here are some of the events happening throughout the month

  • April 17 cleanup of State Street
  • April 21 mid-week gathering focuses on Earth Day, April 22
  • April 24 Styrofoam collection
  • April 25 worship service celebrating Earth Day

Children, Youth and Family Ministries invite you to consider how you might be a part of their ministry.  The Sunday School program hopes to actively participate with special events commemorating Earth Day on Sunday, April 25.

At the beginning of May is the celebration of our relationship with our sister church in Cuba.  Set aside May 1 and 2 for our Annual Cuba Celebration.  Check out how you can participate in this issue.

Our ESL program continues to thrive through weekly Zoom classes and monthly Zoom Cafe times.

    • We are now offering limited capacity in-person worship including services during Holy Week and Easter.  You must pre-register to come to an in-person worship.  Read the full details along with times in the newsletter.
    • Plan to visit the Spirituality Center in the church chapel during Lent hosted by CYF.  (Check out Matt’s experience in his article.)
    • Don’t forget to “spring” ahead one hour this Sunday, March 14.
    • Mission updates include a plea from Cuba as well as plans for the 8th Annual Cuba Weekend.
    • Environmental has a busy April with several events open to the public for recycling.

  • Lent begins Wednesday, February 17.  Distribution of ashes will be offered via a drive-thru from noon to 1 pm.  Virtual service that evening at 7 pm.
  • In-person worship with limited number and restrictions will begin the first Sunday in Lent, February 21, at 10:15 am.
  • Annual Meeting of the Congregation will be held via zoom on Sunday, February 14, at 10 am.
  • Winter book study to be offered February 18 and 25 and March 4 and 11.
  • Staff Appreciation Month in February.
  • Updates from Children, Youth and Family and Youth Sunday School.
  • Mission news including the next ESL Zoom Cafe time on Thursday, February 11, at 10 am.
